ROCKLAND, Maine (WABI) - Fire officials say a combination of lost ground and static electricity is to blame for a fire at the Fisher Engineering Headquarters in Rockland on Wednesday morning.

The Gordon Drive Building was evacuated after a piece of machinery caught fire around 6:30 a.m.

Crews used about 400 gallons of water to knock down the flames and another 200 gallons and three extinguishers to put it out.

No injuries were reported.
