Trick-or-treaters in Brewer enjoy haunted house

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - It’s the spookiest night of the year and trick-or-treaters in a Brewer neighborhood are enjoying going door to door.

One house in particular went above and beyond.

We talked to the owners of a make-shift haunted house that drew a crowd.

“Oh, we love it. We love it. That’s why we do what we do.” said Mckenzy and Danielle, a mother and daughter-in-law who made the haunted house out of their garage.

“We live next door to each other, so she brainstormed this idea. We’re just going to use my garage because it’s the emptiest and we’re just going to make a haunted mansion house. It’s probably going to be a tradition,” said Mckenzy.

Thanks to the time and creativity of these haunted house creators, many young trick-or-treaters got to experience a haunted house for the first time tonight.
