Dry weather today as temperatures continue to warm

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Another dry day is expected today. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with high temps warming even further, reaching the mid 50s to mid 60s. North to east winds will be light, gusting up to 15 mph.

Dry weather will continue throughout the start of the work week. Monday will be partly to mostly cloudy, before mostly sunny skies develop on Tuesday. Highs will vary throughout the 50s and 60s.

After four consecutive dry days from Saturday through Tuesday, partly to mostly cloudy skies in the morning on Wednesday will give way to cloudier skies and rain showers in the afternoon. Temps will also take a hit, varying from the upper 40s to upper 50s. Winds will also become a little breezy.

Rain is expected statewide on Thursday and will likely last into Friday. Temps will also take a hit, with highs in the 40s with a few low to mid 50s in spots. Snow and mixed showers are even possible to the northwest on Friday. As of now, next weekend is trending on the wet side as well.

SUNDAY: Highs from the mid 50s to mid 60s. Partly to mostly cloudy. North to east gusts will reach 15 mph.

MONDAY: Highs from the low 50s to the upper 60s. Partly to mostly cloudy. ENE gusts will reach 15-20 mph.

TUESDAY: Highs from the low 50s to the mid 60s. Partly to mostly sunny. East to SE gusts will reach 20 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Highs from the upper 40s to the upper 50s. Partly to mostly cloudy AM. Cloudy PM with rain showers developing. ESE gusts reach 20-25 mph.

THURSDAY: Highs from the upper 40s to the mid 50s. Cloudy skies with rain likely. ESE gusts will reach 20-25 mph.
