BAILEYVILLE, Maine (WABI) - The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), has filed additional Unfair Labor Practice Charges with the National Labor Relations Board against Woodland Pulp.

According to the A-F-L - C-I-O, these new charges are due to the company’s repeated refusal to negotiate in good faith.

They say the company has hired replacement workers which is a sign of disrespect to the workers who are on strike.

More than 80 workers are now on the picket lines with more union members set to join the strike later this week.

A spokesperson from Woodland Pulp tells us they have no comment other than they respectfully disagree with the allegations in the complaint.

The sides are scheduled to meet with a federal mediator on November 8th.
