Sydney joined the WALB News 10 team in January of 2025 as a digital content creator. She specializes in digital content and emerging media. Sydney started her career at the University of Georgia's Grady College and graduated in December of 2024 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. At UGA, she wrote about mental health, food insecurity, politics and community. Sydney became the EDP in February 2026. In that role, she advises the newsroom on best digital and social media practices, monitors performance metrics and continues to write/produce content daily. When she's not in the newsroom, Sydney loves reading, antiquing and being outdoors!
