Fire breaks out at old Moosehead Mill in Monson

MONSON, Maine (WABI) - Crews are on scene of a fire in Monson.

The fire happened at the old Moosehead Mill just before 7 p.m., Saturday, according to the Piscataquis County Emergency Management Agency.

There are power outages in Monson and Elliotsville, authorities said.

Officials are asking people to avoid the area.
