SIDNEY, Maine (WABI) - One man was hurt after a crash left his car standing on its front end in Sidney Wednesday morning.
It happened around 6:40 a.m. on West River Road near Ferry Road.
The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office says an 18-year-old Augusta woman tried to pass a 48-year-old Sidney man on a curve, but an oncoming car forced the two together.
The man’s car went off the road, hit a culvert, tore through a camper parked on a lawn and came to rest vertical.
Crews cut him out. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The woman was not hurt.
No charges have been filed.
