Belfast woman accused of drug trafficking

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A woman has been arrested in Belfast after police say they found drugs inside her home during a probation check.
Belfast Police say 60-year-old Cherl Ann Briggs is being charged with drug trafficking and unlawful drug possession.
During a search at a home on Poors Mill Road Tuesday afternoon, officials say they found fentanyl, meth, mushrooms, and evidence of drug sales.
Briggs was arrested and taken to Waldo County Jail.
