Maine sending resources to North Carolina to help with Helene recovery

AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - Gov. Janet Mills announced Thursday that the State of Maine is deploying additional assets and resources to assist North Carolina with Hurricane Helene recovery efforts.

The Maine Emergency Management Agency and Forest Service are sending teams and command.

They join a team of Forest Rangers already in North Carolina who are working to clear the roads.
