Lepage's official Governor's portrait unveiled

Governor Lepage's official portrait was unveiled Thursday in Augusta.

Lepage was joined by family, friends, and colleagues at the ceremony.

He personally picked the artist, Ken Hendricksen.

He also picked the setting -- the Blaine Study in the Blaine House.

"I'm very happy with the way it turned out," said Lepage. "I think it's a good likeness. I think it's fun, it's different. It brings a lot of Maine's history. Blaine was the Speaker of the House during the Civil War and that's why we selected it."

The portrait will officially go up December 27th.
