Corinth man charged in mother’s death appears in Bangor court

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A Corinth man accused of killing his mother in December appeared in a Bangor courtroom Tuesday.

Daniel Derosier, 22, is charged with murder in the shooting death of 41-year-old Abigail Thomas.

Derosier’s attorney asked a judge for limited access to certain confidential records, including the criminal history of a juvenile witness.

The prosecutor said by law he is not able to confirm whether those records exist.

The judge agreed to the defense’s request.
