Temporary fuel outages planned Tuesday at Maine Turnpike service plazas

PORTLAND, Maine (WMTW) - Drivers traveling on the I-95 should expect temporary fuel outages at several service plazas Tuesday as scheduled work takes place, according to the Maine Turnpike Authority.
Fuel is expected to be unavailable for about two hours at each affected plaza. The outages are scheduled to begin at:
- 7 a.m. at the West Gardiner Service Plaza
- 10 a.m. at the northbound Gray Service Plaza
- 11 a.m. at the southbound Cumberland Service Plaza
- 2 p.m. at the southbound Kennebunk Service Plaza
- 4 p.m. at the northbound Kennebunk Service Plaza
The Maine Turnpike Authority advised drivers who are traveling during these times to plan ahead and fuel up at another location.
Officials described the interruptions as temporary and said they are related to scheduled work.
The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline is $4.03 in Maine, according to AAA.
