Easton wins Class S North boys basketball title

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The Easton Bears captured the Class S North Championship, 58-42, over the Jonesport-Beals Royals.

“It started off in the locker room (at halftime). We were very quiet in the locker room. We came up with a couple new plays that we knew would work. We came out, and it was mostly poise and grit that won that game in the second half,” said Mason Pelletier, sophomore forward.

The Bears will play Valley in the state title game on Saturday at 12:45 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center.
