No. 2 Buckfield heading to Class D South final following victory over No. 6 Madison

AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - The No. 2 Buckfield Bucks are moving on to the Class D South championship game after taking down the No. 6 Madison Bulldogs 40-21.

The Bucks came out of the gates hot establishing a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

Leading scorers for the Bucks included Chloee Bennett with 11 and Haleigh Campbell with 10.

Madison’s Brookelyn Rich led the way for them with 6.

The Bucks now move on to the regional title game against the winner of No. 1 Mt. Abram and No. 4 Monmouth Academy.
