Father with 18 license suspensions arrested: child, open tequila bottle found in car, police say

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX/Gray News) - An Ohio man with several license suspensions is under arrest after leading authorities on at least two high-speed chases this year.

Jacqor Robinson, 32, of North Fairmount, faces several charges, including endangering children, possession of an open flask, and two counts of failure to comply with police.

Police said his child was in the front passenger seat during a pursuit in Evanston on Oct. 14, and he was found with an open bottle of tequila in the car during a chase in Anderson Township on New Year’s Day.

Robinson was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center on Tuesday night.

During the chase in Anderson Township, deputies said he took off from a traffic stop after being pulled over for traffic violations.

A deputy reported that Robinson presented his Ohio identification but admitted to having a suspended license.

Authorities noted in an affidavit that Robinson did not possess a valid driver’s license and had 18 active suspensions.

“Robinson operated at speeds more than double the speed limit through neighborhoods and drove through yards,” a deputy wrote regarding Robinson’s actions during the chase.

On the Oct. 14 pursuit, police in the Cincinnati District said Robinson attempted to escape them by running a red light and driving at high rates of speed with his child in the vehicle.

Robinson is scheduled to appear before a judge this week.
