Maine teacher writes sci-fi series ‘Unintended Travelers’

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Theresa B. Cyr has been a teacher for nearly 20 years.

She is now the author of the three-book “Unintended Travelers” series.

Series summary:

“The Unintended Traveler’s Series begins with siblings, Brooke and Bently, accidentally going back in time 100 years. They experience culture shock as they see their community so different from what they remembered. Eventually they learn that they’re not the only accidental time travelers, and that the government agent, Robert Fenton, is someone who is trying to prevent them from getting back to 2022. As Brooke and Bently try to go home, with the help of Henry, Pete, and their friends, something goes horribly wrong. That’s where Henry’s Decision and Pete begins. What will Henry’s decision be? What has come of Pete since everything went wrong?”

Cyr says she has always enjoyed reading a variety of genres, but had always been drawn to sci-fi. She says she was always fascinated by the idea of time travel and the supernatural.
