Drivers hospitalized following two-vehicle crash in Caribou

CARIBOU, Maine (WABI) - A head on collision in Caribou sent two people to the hospital.

According to Caribou Police, at around 12:28 p.m. on Monday, two vehicles crashed at the exit to Skyway Plaza and NAPA Auto Parts Store, located on the Van Buren Road in Caribou.

Police say one of the drivers fail to yield the right of way which resulted in a head-on collision.

Both driver’s sustained minor injuries and were transported to Cary Hospital, by Caribou Fire and Ambulance.

The crash remains under investigation.
