ETNA, Maine (WABI) - Maine State Police say a woman was arrested and charged with murder after they found a man dead inside a home in Etna.

According to police, at approximately 6:40 Friday morning, a 911 call came in from Old County Road.

Upon arrival, police found 41-year-old Luke Norris dead inside the home.

Norris' girlfriend, 36-year-old Heidi Tasker, was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation.

They both lived in the home.

Norris' body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.

Back in 2019, WABI reported that Tasker and Norris were in court after authorities say Tasker hit Norris with her car.

Norris pled guilty to criminal mischief charges for damaging the car before the accident.

Tasker was charged with aggravated assault.

She was also convicted of manslaughter for an accident in 2010, when she lost control of her truck and rolled it in Palmyra.

Her boyfriend was ejected and died.
