After this system clears out tonight, the rest of the week stays pretty dry and temperatures plummit by next weekend. Arctic air brings dangerous cold for next weekend, therefore, we have issued a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY for Saturday.
Partly cloudy to mostly clear tonight. Seasonable with a mix of sun and clouds for the first day of spring. We are keeping an eye on a couple systems to end next week.
An upper-level low passing to our north and high pressure building into the Mid-Atlantic will create a tight pressure gradient force, resulting in some gusty westerly winds up to 35 mph. Clouds and snow showers clear out Sunday night and give way to partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies through the first day of spring and the beginning of next week.
