Maine football falls at William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, VA (WABI) - Turnovers hurt UMaine as the Black Bears fell at William & Mary 27-20 on Saturday.

Chris Ferguson playing again this week at quarterback throwing for 278 yards on 26/46 passing. But his 3 interceptions cost the Black Bears, one of them went 90-yards for a pick-6.

Penalties costing the Black Bears again this week as well. 13 penalties for 130 yards this time around.

Ramon Jefferson had 80 yards rushing and a touchdown. Sterling Sheffield recovered a fumble in the end zone for the Black Bears other touchdown.

Taji Lowe had 7 solo tackles to lead the Black Hole defense.

Maine falls to 4-3. They host Albany next weekend.
