Local racing legend Craven leaving ESPN

BRISTOL, CT (WABI) - Ricky Craven is no longer working for ESPN.

The stock car driver from Newburgh announced on his Twitter account he was saying good bye to his colleagues.

Craven has been a lead stock car analyst at the network for 12 years.

The sport has been in decline recently.

The Hampden Academy graduate had won races as a driver at every level including two Winston Cup races.
