ORONO, MAINE (WABI) - The UMaine football team got a career and school record tying 52-yard field goal from Kenny Doak as time expired to beat Villanova 13-10 on Saturday night in Orono.
The win snapping a two game losing streak for Maine. It moves the Black Bears to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the Colonial Athletic Associaton.
Joe Fitzpatrick of Portland ran for 66 yards and Maine's only touchdown.
The Black Bears held the Wildcats to 181 yards of total offense.
Maine next plays at Rhode Island Saturday, October 13th at noon. Both teams are undefeated in the conference.
