Woman Dies After Being Hit By Truck in Addison

A woman is dead after being hit by a truck in Addison Friday.

42-year-old Trissa Donovan of Harrington and 37-year-old Mandy Kane were walking on East Side Road in Addison when a truck driven by 23-year-old Kayla East of Addison hit them from behind.

The two women were transported to Downeast Community Hospital where Donovan later died from her injuries.

Kane is expected to be okay.

East was reportedly distracted by her child when she crossed the center line hitting the women.

She was transported to Washington County Jail and charged with driving to endanger and operating after suspension.
