Waterville hosts annual Parade of Lights

WATERVILLE, Maine (WABI) - It's the day after Thanksgiving so you know what that means. Santa has arrived.

Santa and Mrs. Claus came to Downtown Waterville Friday night for the annual Parade of Lights.

Thousands packed the streets to ring in the holiday season and see the floats made by community members.

We talked to some of the kids out there about what their favorite float was and what they like most about Christmas.

"My favorite float was the Santa," says parade-goer Zander. "The Santa one," says parade-goer Patricia.

"We get to spend time with family," says Zander. "We get to open presents," says Patricia.

Santa will be at Kringleville in Downtown Waterville every weekend until Christmas to see what all the kids want for Christmas so make sure you stop on by.
