Trial expected to start for man accused of killing and shooting a Millinocket man
The trial for a man accused of shooting and killing a Millinocket man during a home invasion is expected to start Monday morning.
39-year-old, Christopher Murray is charged with murder and robbery.
Wayne LaPierre and his wife, Diem, were shot in their Millinocket home in December of 2017.
Wayne LaPierre later died. His wife survived.
Court documents said Murray, Tony Locklear, and his daughter, Alexis Locklear, went to LaPierre's home to buy marijuana and steal money from him.
Tony Locklear pleaded guilty to murder, elevated aggravated assault, and robbery.
Alexis Locklear changed her plea. She pleaded guilty to a robbery.
In exchange for her plea, Locklear is expected to testify against Christopher Murray.
