Traffic stop in Ellsworth leads to drug arrest

Ellsworth, ME (WABI)- A traffic stop in Ellsworth resulted in a Sullivan woman being arrested with numerous drugs on her.

According to state police, 50-year old Melissa Morse was stopped Sunday on the Bangor Road.

Troopers say they noticed multiple signs of criminal activity.

A search reportedly revealed Morse was carrying heroin, crystal meth, ecstasy, suboxoone, ritalin and Subutex.

Morse was taken to the Hancock County Jail where she is being held on $10,000 bail.

More charges are pending, according to state police.
