Thomas College wants to raise awareness about anxiety.
On Tuesday they'll host a free screening of the movie "Angst," a film that deals with the effects and treatments of anxiety
It features Olympic legend Michael Phelps.
A Thomas College counselor says anxiety is the most common struggle American students come to college counseling centers with.
Thomas says they hope this will help students come forward if they need help.
"The stigma needs to be erased so that student-athletes, or students in general, reach out early," says Shanda Ness, Director of Athletics for Thomas College. "And they're not waiting until it's a time where they really can't deal with things."
The movie will be played at 6:00pm Tuesday night at Ayotte Auditorium on the Thomas College campus in Waterville.
