Students think about future career paths at Careerfest

ORONO, Maine (WABI) - What to wear? What should go on my resume? How can I make myself more marketable?

Those are some questions that were asked at the University of Maine campus Wednesday at Careerfest.

It's was an opportunity to engage students and get them interested in thinking about future careers.

Several tables were set up with all types of job selections.

Crisanne Blackie, Director of the Career Center at the University of Maine said, "It's not just something you do in your senior year. We have a lot of first-year students that are here. I mean we want those first-year students to really think about what can they do to make themselves really marketable to future employers. "

The University of Maine also revealed Wednesday, it's Maine Employer Hiring Guide, designed to help students find job fairs and networking events.
