115 miles per hour. That's how fast State Police say a vehicle was going on the interstate in Sherman Thursday night.

But when a trooper went to pull the vehicle over, the driver took off instead.

It all happened last night just before 7 on the Northbound side of the interstate.

According to state police, the chase continued at speeds well over 100 miles per hour, until the driver exited at Island Falls.

A short time later, the driver lost control on a sharp turn and crashed.

24 year old Nathan Love of Minot is now facing numerous charges in connection with the incident, including an OUI.

His passenger, 25 year old Nathaniel Bourget of Millinocket, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear on an assault charge, and was also charged with violating conditions of release.
