MAINE (WABI) - Some Uber drivers in Maine will get a small payout as part of a settlement for a 2016 data breach.
Uber has settled the case by agreeing to pay out $148-million.
Around 600,000 drivers were affected when hackers gained access to personal information.
Uber failed to report the breach in a timely manner, waiting a year to report it.
Each driver in Maine impacted will get $100.
Uber has also agreed to strengthen its security practices.
