There is plenty of fun being had in Dover-Foxcroft this weekend.

The Shiretown Homecoming Celebration is happening on Saturday.

The town is celebrating its 96th anniversary.

There will be a parade, fireworks and plenty of food and entertainment for all ages.

The beach party will start at four on Saturday at Municipal Beach Greely's Landing in Dover-Foxcroft following with fireworks.

"This to celebrate at certain extent the combination of Dover and Foxcroft becoming one town and things like that. It's kind of a home down celebration. The theme of it is a rodeo this year so we are some of your best cowboy garb and come up for the parade," said Ryan Reardon of the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department.
