Bob Treadwell from Penobscot Valley Senior College is in on this week's Senior Watch to talk about the upcoming spring semester.

Penobscot Valley Senior College's non-credit courses are offered during the spring and fall in six-week sessions, with a dozen or more courses being offered each semester. Our volunteer instructors are experts in their respective fields.

Members of the Penobscot Valley Senior College are entitled to take courses at other Senior Colleges in the Maine Senior College Network.

The spring semester runs March 19th through April 27th.

The deadline to enroll is March 2, 2018.

Tuition for each course is $30.

All Senior College class registrations are accepted in the order they are received and must be accompanied by a check. Some classes fill quickly and are on a first come, first served basis, which is the reason we ask you to list a second choice. Catalogs are sent first to Senior College members, and then to others on the mailing list.

If you have questions about how to register for a course, please call our message phone at 992-0118 and someone will call you back.

Confirmation of your class assignment, with the room number, will be sent by postcard about two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.

If you have a class at the University of Maine in Orono, use the parking permit, even though there is no fee. Failure to use the permit may result in a parking ticket. No permit is required at University College in Bangor.
