BUCKSPORT, Maine (WABI) - Bucksport Regional Health Center hosted a free senior health fair Wednesday.
The fair included vendors and demos focused on improving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Bucksport police were on hand to collect expired medications.
Attendees could get screened for blood pressure or balance issues.
There were even Scottish dancing lessons.
Jessica Richards, Health Educator with Bucksport Regional Health Center, says "As you get older there's no reason to stop doing the things that you love or to stop exploring new things so that's what it's really all about is connecting people to those things that really keep that quality of life extended."
The center is planning on holding another health fair in the spring.
