Senator Angus King made a stop in Bar Harbor Thursday.

He hosted a discussion with College of the Atlantic students to hear about issues important to them.

King took questions and discussed his work in Maine and Washington.

He says he was impressed with their questions and how engaged they were.

"I find students do, they are thinking about these things, and one of my main messages to them is to be engaged. Young people tend not to vote as much as they should, and yet it is their future that's really at stake," said King.

King says it will be a busy several weeks for him and his team leading up to the mid-term elections, while being in session for most of October.
