Sen. Angus King Weighs in on Sexual Harassment Allegations in Congress

Senator Angus King says there's no excuse for the behavior Senator Al Franken and candidate Roy Moore are accused of.

King says the only good to come from this situation is that a national conversation about sexually improper behavior may help change the culture surrounding it.

"So that we understand that this isn't acceptable, that it's never acceptable. It's not the right way to treat women and maybe we can stop the culture that sort of sometimes accepts it. I just feel for the women that have been putting up with this for years and people whose lives are being caught up in it. It's a terrible situation," said King, (I) Maine.

On Twitter, Senator Susan Collins called the reports about Franken "disturbing" and has called on Moore to withdraw from the senate race in Alabama.
