More than two-thirds of the ballots have been downloaded in the process to determine the winner of the 2nd District Congressional race.

Secretary of State Matt Dunlap says they have 5 counties to go and have counted all of the larger communities.

After they have all of the votes, there's still one more step.

"Once we get done downloading all of the images, then we have to go through the reconciliation to make sure we have everything, and make sure that everything's accounted for according to the warden's reports on election night," says Dunlap. "Once we have all of that reconciled, we'll make a 2 hour announcement and then we'll run the tabulation."

Dunlap says the process is going smoothly but he can't give a time when they'll be able to announce the winner.
