According to an economic impact report conducted by UMaine, in 2017, craft beer added $260,000,000 to the state economy.

That's according to the Maine Brewers' Guild, the nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the craft beer industry.

Locally brewed beer has been brought into the mainstream, with more than 130 breweries open compared to ten years ago when Maine was home to only 14.

Additionally, brewers directly employ more than 1,900 people across the state.
