Remains of adult man found in Sandy Stream in Unity, police say they were likely there for several years

State Police detectives say that kayakers were the ones to discover human remains last Friday in a Unity stream.
The remains appear to have been in the water for several years.
The remains are those of an adult man and were found in Sandy Stream.
Investigators have reviewed missing persons cases that are on file, but at this time they say there is no obvious match.
