Quick action saves Winslow house from going up in flames

WINSLOW, Maine- The Winslow fire chief says quick thinking by firefighters is what kept a fire spreading to a house Wednesday afternoon.

Several towns responded just before 1 p.m. to Abbot Road.

We're told two attached buildings near the house both caught fire.

Officials say they sustained significant damage.

The Fire Marshal's Office will determine the cause and where the fire started.

No one was hurt.
