BAR HARBOR, Maine (WABI) - A housing issue in Bar Harbor was discussed Wednesday night.
The town planning board held a public hearing.
Some residents are against Ocean Properties adding two housing units to an existing property.
The units are generally for their seasonal workers.
Some residents feel it could help with the affordable housing issue in town.
Opponents say there's already a problem with noise and parties on the property.
Thursday, the code enforcement officer told TV5 news that, according to the police department, there has only been one noise complaint in the last two years.
A decision on the application has not yet been reached and will be discussed at the next meeting on the 19th.
