Four people were taken into custody after a pursuit in Bangor Friday.
An officer was responding to a wellness check on a person who was then seen at the corner of Cedar and Maine Streets.
Police say that person got in a car and led them on a chase.
The car stopped at the bus terminal in Pickering Square.
Multiple officers then responded with guns drawn.
Sergeant Jason Stuart of the Bangor Police Department says, "Some things transpired during that made him concerned for his safety. We are investigating that portion right now and we have taken four people to the station for questioning. At this point it's too early to say whether or not there are going to be charges. I'd suspect that that's in consideration at this point."
There were no injuries reported.
