PHlLLIPS, Maine (WABI) - A man from Phillips accused of raping two children will spend three years in prison for the crime.
28-year-old Michael Harriman was sentenced last month after previously pleading guilty to unlawful sexual contact.
He was arrested in September of last year.
The Sun Journal reports the investigation began after the two children were interviewed at a children's advocacy center.
Harriman is currently serving four years in prison for a burglary case in Androscoggin County.
His new three-year sentence will be tacked on to the end of that.
In all, Harriman will spend seven years in prison.
