OLD TOWN, Maine (WABI) - Bobbie Fowler from the Old Town Animal Orphanage visited the TV5 studios this morning to show the Pet of the Week.
Myrtle the 8-year-old cat is looking for a home.
Myrtle is ready to go to a home today.
The address to the Old Town Animal Orphanage is 71 Airport Road in Old Town. It is open 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The Old Town Animal Orphanage's golf tournament fund raiser is coming up July 7 at Hidden Meadows in Old Town.
It is a four-person scramble that begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
The cost is $65 a person or $260 per team. This includes green fees, cart, some contests, lunch, driving range and start up package.
We will also be doing a putting contest, and pitching wedge contest. Prizes for these contests will be a putter and wedge value at at least $500 each.
We have many raffle items, including a kayak from Old Town canoe, hotel stay packages, gift certificates around the local area, a grill, and many more.
On-site donations are welcome at the tournament.
