helps individuals start and expand businesses with five or fewer employees. The course stresses that good management, effective marketing and financial controls lead to increased profits, and that business planning leads to business growth, profits and personal satisfaction in just seven classes. The following topics will be discussed: Credit, Business Plan, Business Concept, Legal Structures of Business, Marketing, Record Keeping, Financials & Cash Flow, Loans & Grants, and Technology. The classes are frequently augmented with guest speakers from the local business community which allows participants to network with local bankers, accountants, insurance agents, web & media designers, and an array of other experts.
