BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - 60 years ago this week, the Paul Bunyan statue in Bangor went up outside the old auditorium.
He has stood tall in Bangor ever since.
But this is not the only place that claims him.
And, that's not the only question raised about this legendary logger.
Bangor is one of many places on the continent that used to have a lot of logs and says Paul Bunyan was born there.
So, who is this tall drink of water that has been in Downtown Bangor for so long?
Speaking with a local historian and the man who designed the statue in the city, we set out for answers.
