BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Meet Treeva from the North Florida Animal Rescue.
She is a 10 month old Walker Coonhound.

They are an American type of hunting dog developed for the game animals and working conditions found in the United States, specifically raccoon hunting. There are six distinct breeds of Coonhound.
They have an average lifespan of 10-12 years.

How to adopt?

The adoption fee includes your dog/cat to be up to date on vaccines, dewormed, micro-chipped, spayed/neutered and current on monthly flea/tick/HW preventatives. The adoption fee also includes transport costs.

Some of our adoptions are part of our "Paw it Forward" program. This adoption fee is $50 higher than traditional adoptions, and assists with funding our spay/neuter services to reduce further pet overpopulation.
