AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - A bill that would allow people under the age of 21 to have access to the overdose reversing drug Narcan is on its way to the Governor's desk.
The bill passed unanimously in the Senate Friday.
Last month, the Board of Pharmacy amended proposed rules to raise the age of access to Narcan from 18 to 21.
This legislation would override that action.
The Governor has 10 days to either sign, veto, or let the measure become law without his signature.
