More than 4,000 Hancock County residents in the dark Thursday morning

BASS HARBOR, Maine (WABI) - Thousands of people were without power in Hancock County for a few hours Thursday morning hour due to a car crash.

No word on where the crash took place.

Emera Maine says more than 4,000 people were in the dark in the Bass Harbor area.

We're told a car hit a pole.

Hancock County dispatch says there were at least a dozen crashes in the area during the morning hours.

There have been no major injuries reported.
