Authorities said a Windsor man was flown to Central Maine Medical Center after an accident on Route 32 in China near the Windsor town line.

After investigating, Maine State Police say 54-year-old-Boivin O’Neal was traveling from China toward Windsor, when he failed to follow a curve in the roadway. Police said Boivin's car continued straight, traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.

We’re told a passerby called it in just before 4, Sunday afternoon.

Authorities suggest both speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash.

Maine State Police said no charges have been filed at this point-as the crash is still under investigation.
