MaineStream Finance held an open house to show off its new office space in Bangor today...
A subsidiary of Penquis, MaineStream has been around for eighteen years now.
It provides financial services and loans to small businesses and Mainers who are under-served by traditional banks.
The new street-level offices are highly visible and they hope to serve more Mainers than ever...
"Sometimes we're known sort of as the best kept secret here especially in Bangor." says Chris Linder, CEO of MaineStream Finance. "This is a way for us to really present ourselves more into the community and make ourselves more accessible."
The office is next to the Federal Building on Harlow Street.
